There's another spot on the heath that I enjoy revisiting all year around. Amidst the pines, sits a heather ravine. Blooming heather attracts butterflies and bees in the summer, as do the abundance of foxgloves. In the autumn, crystallised mycena mushrooms and false chanterelles. And this absolute show stopper of a spiderweb...
